| | the stars must really hate me today.. just when i thought things couldn't get any better more and more bad luck are coming my way as the day ends! grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
(1) my alarm woke me up 530 but i let it snooze for a couple of times only to realize that its 8am already! just great!!! now im late!
(2) all my sisters left already so i have no choice but to commute only to find a really long (as in really really long) line in the terminal. oh-my-god!!!! it took me 45 minutes to wait for the freaking fx. haaay!
(3) the ride took forever! work for the mrt and lrt connection has already started so there's a major traffic from nlex all the way to edsa-balintawak. amazingly the mrt was not packed so the ride from qc to makati went smoothly and really quick.
(4) as i was entering glorietta i suddenly stopped on my tracks because someone pulled my backpack. and it was none other than this irritating lady guard who told me to open my backpack! and i was like "what are those things for??" (i was referring to the black thing that they use to scan the person and the bag)... "bakit pa tumutunog yan? alam mo ba kung ano hinahanap mo sa bag ko?" i know its a procedure that they check the bags of every person who enters the mall but pulling my bag? for some reason i just don't feel like obeying this stupid law! arrrggghhh!
(5) since artes was due today, i decided to shop for the remaining items for the christmas party then i realized i left my credit card! just amazing! luckily my mom was on her way to makati so i asked her to bring it for me. i took a cab and met her halfway in buendia to get my credit card. just as i was crossing the street this black fortuner sped by and splashed murky and muddy water in my pants. wtf?!?!?! wet feet! dirty pants! i was already fuming because of all the bad things that are happening and its only 12nn.
(6) i went straight to sm makati to shop for the raffle items to be given during the party after meeting my mom. the shopping experience was fun and all the sales lady were very helpful and attentive. i need to have the receipts addressed to accenture and they told me to go to the customer service in 3rd floor to have it done. but since i still need a couple of other items i went to the grocery in the ground floor first before dealing with the receipts. the cashier from the grocery told me that the or is also only given at the 3rd floor so i went there right after. guess what the lady from the customer service told me? that i should get the receipts at the ground floor and not in 3rd floor. i can already feel thick black smoke coming out of my nose and ears. the lady must have sensed my anger coz she was profusely apologizing and even asked me to sit down first and relax. after a few minutes i went down since i obviously don't have any other choice (the girl again apologized for the nth time which made my mood a tiny bit better).
(7) since i have around 20 bags which i obviously cannot carry even with two guys in tow, we decided to take a cab. again there is a really long line of passengers waiting for taxis. just as we were about to get in, the rain started pouring. and i mean pouring like really hard making us and our groceries wet.
(8) i relaxed a bit when i got back in the office since the hard part is already done. i can just ask the rest of my team to fix the groceries. it took me an hour to update the budget and submit it to my manager for approval. after an hour i got another bad news! all the receipts were invalid and cannot be used. apparently we have a new policy (that i was not aware of coz it was not rolled-out to the project) and i have to find 25k-worth of restaurant receipts to have my money reimbursed. o-m-g! as in o-m-g! i feel like i'm about to explode. but i'm just too tired. it feels like a really long day already and its only 3pm. i'm tired, i haven't started any real work and now this??? obviously i spent the rest of the afternoon looking for the fucking receipts from different people. i left work around 930 and was able to get 12k-worth of receipts (thank you lord!). i need all the luck in the world to raise the other half before the deadline which is tomorrow afternoon.
... and that is the story of my really bad day! 11.24.08, i now proclaim this as bad luck day!!!
please please please make things better tomorrow...
